In line with China’s push to develop a more connected, intelligent manufacturing ecosystem, the 2026 edition of Guangzhou Industrial Technology saw a notable expansion in its coverage of the robotics sector, with the International Robot and Intelligent Equipment Zone connecting specialists in industrial, service and specialised robots, intelligent equipment, fluid and mechanical transmission, air compression technology and industrial AI applications. Meanwhile, industrial components, electrical equipment and machinery exhibitors addressed the wider production sector across the floor, with a dedicated bearing zone serving visitors in search of high-precision components for industrial machinery.

Alongside, Asiamold Select – Guangzhou attracted crowds of international and domestic buyers from industries including automotive, consumer electronics, home appliances and medical devices, drawing on Guangdong and China's position as globally recognised centres of mould manufacturing. The exhibition spanned materials, tooling, components and equipment across the mould-making process chain. Additive manufacturing technologies also held a prominent place on the show floor, reflecting their growing role as a complementary capability for mould producers.

Accompanying the exhibitions, the combined fringe programme brought together manufacturers, researchers, and policymakers to address key developments in the industry. A significant draw was the debut of the Greater Bay Area Industrial Embodied Intelligence Conference, which gathered professionals from across China and abroad to explore how artificial intelligence enables machines to perceive, learn from, and interact with complex physical environments such as modern factories. Meanwhile, visiting mould-makers attended the Smart Moulding Industry Summit to discuss the sector's digitalisation, as well as the 3D Printing Technologies in Mould Making Summit, which detailed how additive manufacturing can resolve common structural and efficiency limitations in mould production.

Exhibitor comments:
"One particular advantage of this event lies in its ability to gather stakeholders, ranging from upstream suppliers to robot body manufacturers and system integrators, from across the complete robotics supply chain. We saw strong interest in embodied intelligence, handing out hundreds of informational materials in a single day. The show also drew international clients, particularly from Southeast Asia, inquiring about using robots to replace hazardous or injury-prone roles."
Mr Mingqiang Xu, Co-founder and Chief Strategic Partnership Officer, Zhicheng Yingda (Hangzhou) Technology Co Ltd

"The theme and target audience of this exhibition are highly aligned with our industrial software products. From the moment the show opened, we had a continuous stream of clients from the equipment, electronic information, processing, and automotive industries inquiring about our simulation solutions. Not only does the event have a wide range of product coverage, but the concurrent forum activities on topics such as artificial intelligence, embodied intelligence, and industrial software help participants better understand emerging industry trends."
Mr Guoshen Tang, Marketing Manager, Guangzhou Bocang Data Technology Co Ltd

"As domestic leaders in powder steels, we provide high-quality materials for the high-end mould sector. From the opening hour, we saw substantial interest in our extrusion and 3D printing solutions, leading to deep technical exchanges with major clients like Foxconn and Midea. I was deeply impressed by the professional standard of the concurrent forums. The fact that visitors arrive with such clear objectives and specific technical requirements ensures we will continue to participate in the future."
Mr Jin Zhao, Executive Director, Foshan Tianfeng Special Steel Co Ltd

"Our 3D scanning technology provides essential inspection and modelling data for the automotive and additive manufacturing sectors. We return each year specifically for the event's regional influence in Guangdong and its high volume of international buyers. Although we have become more selective with our event participation, we chose this show for its proven ability to generate returns, supported by our consistent 3:1 conversion ratio from previous leads."
Mr Duke Du, Co-founder & Vice President, Blackboxcv

"As the exclusive South China distributor for Toolox, we return to this exhibition every year because it attracts a genuine audience of industry insiders. This specialised, knowledgeable crowd allows us to move straight into deep conversations. The show allowed us to demonstrate how changing materials transforms the production workflow, shortening cycles and lowering costs. Many visitors showed intense interest in our practical case studies, and we look forward to continuing these technical discussions through factory visits."
Mr Weixin Xie, Manager, Guangdong Tenghongjie Metal Technology Co Ltd

Visitor comments:
"The market for Chinese cars in Panama is developing rapidly, so we are here to find providers for automotive component moulds who can manufacture exact samples for the various models we support. This exhibition and the concurrent shows are quite huge, offering a good range of specialised manufacturers to explore. I have already identified several relevant booths with interesting catalogues of Chinese parts to follow up with after the show."
Ms Mayumi Zhong, General Manager, Tesorio Self Apartos

"Following a recommendation from an industry peer, I decided to attend this exhibition, and finding such a relevant, high-value event outside the usual April and October trade seasons has been a great surprise. Specialising in instrumentation for the Nigerian market, I have already found several companies supplying industrial components such as pressure gauges, solenoid valves, and pneumatic parts which I intend to follow up with further. This exhibition has added significant value to my business trip to China, and now I know that every March, I will be here."
Mr Uche Innocent, MD & CEO, Uche Adindu Best

Speaker comments:
"By converting 52 years of technical records into AI-understandable data, we are helping the mould and plastics sectors move from a reliance on veteran experience toward AI-guided decision-making. Because of its specialised and technical nature, this exhibition is a significant annual fixture for these kinds of conversations. The intense engagement during our forum, with attendees documenting our content and seeking detailed follow-ups, highlights the demand for such a high-level technical platform."
Mr Jingqi Peng, President, Shenzhen Benchmark Technology Co Ltd

"During the 3D Printing Technologies in Mould Making Summit, I wanted to convey two key messages to the audience: first, that additive manufacturing technology is advancing rapidly, and second, that our products are being continuously improved and iterated based on authentic customer needs. Having manufacturers and end-users share the stage is a brilliant way to present the latest industry insights. It is a highly purpose-built environment that allows us to get our most advanced solutions in front of a very specific, expert audience."
Mr Dongping Xiang, Director of Market Applications, Ningbo Haitian Additive Technology Co Ltd

Audience comments:
"The robotics industry is entering a period of explosive growth. As we saw with the performances at the Spring Festival Gala, the technology is maturing and moving toward mass production. At the Greater Bay Area Industrial Embodied Intelligence Conference, I was struck by the high level of professionalism and the organisers' sharp understanding of these market trends. For our work in digital transformation, the forum was a great resource for practical insights and a professional space to connect with upstream and downstream partners."
Mr Jingxing Liu, General Manager, Nanning Shuzhong Information Technology Co Ltd
