Worldwide, the robotics sector is expanding as industries respond to labour shortages and ageing populations. China has become a key growth driver in the global robotics industry chain, underpinned by its established industrial clusters and sizeable domestic demand for robotics technology.
Leading this national growth is Guangdong Province. A major centre for China's smart equipment industry and a hub of technological innovation, the province's intelligent robotics industry generated RMB 99.2 billion (USD 14.05 billion) in revenue in 2024. Industrial robot output totalled 246,800 units, up 31.2% year-on-year, accounting for 44% of China’s total and placing Guangdong first nationwide for the fifth consecutive year. Policy support measures, including R&D subsidies and industry investment funds, are helping to accelerate robotics innovation in the province.[1]
To align with the region's growing robotics sector, the 2026 fair will expand its coverage in this area to create a more comprehensive industrial platform. Complementing the established Asiabearing zone, which covers bearings and bearing processing technologies, the event will debut the International Robot and Intelligent Equipment Zone. This new segment addresses the market’s need for intelligent machinery, with exhibits spanning industrial, service and specialised robots, intelligent equipment, fluid and mechanical transmission, air compression technology and industrial AI applications.
Leading brands have moved quickly to secure their spot. Confirmed exhibitors as of December 2025 include Boken, BRTR, CONEC, CRIUS, Daming Bearing, GEAR, Huayi Bearing, Jehad Ims, JBE, Lianshun Machinery, Linghang Robot, Meiyide, Mingqiu, SDTZ, STLADL, Wanjie Electronic, Weide Electric, Xinyuhai and YTILITY. These exhibitors will bring their latest products to the floor, showcasing the newest developments in the sector. Among the exhibition floor, the event will also set up an Embodied Intelligence Zone hosting equipment debuts, buyer demand announcements and partnership signings.
In addition to the technology showcase, the 2026 show will host a series of concurrent events such as Greater Bay Area Industrial Embodied Intelligence Conference, Automotive Intelligent Manufacturing Summit – Smart Mobility for a Quality-led Future, The 3rd Robotics+ Summit – Empowering Every Industry, Globalising Smart Manufacturing – AI-empowered Technologies and International Expansion, covering topics including robotics, embodied AI, overseas development strategy for local enterprises and more. Designed for in-depth discussion and exchange, these sessions will help participants understand emerging directions across the sector.
Co-located exhibitions to support innovation in manufacturing
To provide a more integrated platform, the event will once again be held alongside SPS – Smart Production Solutions Guangzhou and Asiamold Select – Guangzhou, bringing the three exhibitions together in one venue.
As a member of the global SPS exhibition series, SPS – Smart Production Solutions Guangzhou draws on the series’ international network to connect global suppliers with local demand, helping Chinese enterprises expand into domestic and overseas markets and supporting international suppliers in establishing a presence in the Greater Bay Area.
Running concurrently, Asiamold Select – Guangzhou will showcase materials, equipment and solutions spanning moulds, precision injection moulding, intelligent stamping, advanced die casting and additive manufacturing (industrial 3D printing). Together, the three exhibitions will create new opportunities for technical exchange and knowledge sharing, supporting innovation across the Greater Bay Area’s manufacturing sector.
